FXR150 Front Brake Master Cylinder - Servicing?

Is it possible to pull the piston out of the master cylinder on the standard FXR150 front brake?
I have pulled it apart but cannot work out how to extract the master cylinder piston.
    Any help much appreciated

From memory there's a little circlip keeping it in there. Mine was hiding in a bunch of rust so had to go digging to find it.

remove the brake pads and use the brake lever to pump the pistons out, there is nothing holding them in other than the rubber Oring seal. one piston will come out easier than the other , before it pops out clamp it so the stickypiston will come out . you can use compressed air to do this as well , but wear eye protection as there could be a cloud of brake fluid and air coining your way
chaos will take a long time to restore

Master cylinder yowling, not caliper pistons. There is a grubby little circling there that is the likely problem.
