July 08: For this project we thought lets fit one of our worked FXR150 motors in to a different frame. My first preference for a frame is the 89 Honda NSR250, but hey i couldnt find one! 2nd choice was the TZR250 1kt frame which like the nsr250 frame is aluminium, mmm nice and light, also the tzr has pretty superior suspension and brakes compared to the fxr150's standard setup.

What makes this an even better choice is Mike #88 just happens to know of one we can use! ;)

Ok to make this motor fit we are going to need to do a bit of cutting, grinding and welding as the engine mounts on our fxr150 motor dont line up to the mounts on the frame.

With the engine resting on the bottom plate and at the angle i have decided to run with the sprocket height lines up well with the swingarm.

My next step was to make some cardboard template mounts up so we can make easily decide how best to mount. Once everything is 100% located its time to make the mounts and get them welded to the frame.

Back soon with more updates!
